Cancellation, Refund and Right of Withdrawal

This policy explains the cancellation, refund and right of withdrawal conditions for the Cast İstanbul digital membership service. Membership is a digital service with no physical product, delivered instantly in electronic form.

1. Right of Withdrawal and Legal Exception

Pursuant to Article 15/1-(ğ) of the Distance Contracts Regulation, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for services performed instantly in electronic form and whose performance has begun with the Consumer's consent.

Upon payment of the membership fee and activation of the account, performance of the service is deemed to have commenced immediately. Since the Member explicitly consents to this at the payment step, the 14-day right of withdrawal expires after activation and the amount paid is, as a rule, non-refundable.

2. Cancellation Before Activation

If payment has been received but the membership has not yet been activated due to a technical reason, the order will be cancelled upon request and the full amount paid will be refunded via the same payment method.

3. Exceptional Cases Where a Refund May Be Issued

In the following circumstances, a partial or full refund may be issued after review:

  • Duplicate (double) payment,
  • A technical fault originating from the Seller that cannot be resolved within a reasonable time and completely prevents access to the service,
  • Closure of the Member's account by the Seller before the service has been provided.

4. Cancellation of Subscription (Non-Renewal)

For periodic (e.g. annual) memberships, the Member may request at any time that the subscription not be renewed at the end of the period. Cancellation stops future renewals; the service may continue to be used until the end of the current paid period. No refund is issued for past periods.

Mobile app (App Store / Google Play) subscriptions: Auto-renewing subscriptions purchased via in-app purchase can be cancelled at any time through your device's App Store → Apple ID → Subscriptions or Google Play → Payments & subscriptions settings. Cancellation stops the next renewal.

5. Refund Request and Process

Refund requests should be submitted along with payment/order details to info@castistanbul.com or via the contact channel below. Requests are reviewed within 14 days at the latest. Approved refunds are processed via the original payment method: card payments are refunded to the relevant card, and bank transfer/EFT payments are refunded to the bank account provided by the Recipient. The time for the refund to appear on the card/bank account may vary depending on the relevant institution.

Mobile app (IAP) refunds: Refunds for in-app purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are handled by the respective store in accordance with their own refund policies, and the Seller cannot process refunds directly for these payments. To request a refund, please apply through your store account via reportaproblem.apple.com for Apple or play.google.com/store/account for Google Play.
